The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Informatics (FPVaI) at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra conducts interdisciplinary research spanning molecular biology and biotechnology, environmental and climate sciences, artificial intelligence and data science, mathematical and physical modelling, analytical chemistry, and STEM education research.

Its research teams deliver internationally recognised results in areas such as reproductive and bone biology, environmental toxicology and biomonitoring, landscape ecology and climate resilience, GIS-based hazard modelling, and AI-driven data analysis.

The faculty participates in European research initiatives including Horizon Europe and MSCA projects, publishes in high-impact scientific journals, and combines laboratory excellence, advanced computational methods and real-world implementation environments to generate measurable scientific and societal impact.
