The Department of Botany and Genetics at UKF in Nitra is a dynamic academic and research unit focused on plant biology, biodiversity, genetics, and molecular biology. We connect fundamental biological research with applied environmental, agricultural, and biotechnological challenges.

Our mission is to contribute to scientific knowledge in plant sciences and genetics while educating highly qualified experts prepared for research, environmental management, biotechnology, and education.
