Molecular Aspects of Oogenesis and Early Embryogenesis

The essence of the team is the research of molecular aspects of oocyte maturation and the development of early animal embryos. The knowledge about these processes, as well as the possibilities of their modification, are indispensable for the improvement of indicators in the area of animal production and biomedicine.

The common interdisciplinary basic and applied research of the team greatly improves the basic knowledge for their application in practice. Over the past two decades, our team has unequivocally demonstrated a strong research profile in the fields of animal biotechnology, molecular and cell biology, supported by many cellular and molecular techniques at the level of somatic cells, gamma and embryos, in order to define technological interventions to the core of basic biology.
